We just watched Pursuit of Happyness last night and we really liked it. I know some would say it is a rather predictable and typical "overcoming adversity" feel-good story. But I find it more than that, in large part because of the moral content of the father/son relationship. With that in mind, and even apart from that, I truly appreciate your personal comments. You have told me some of your own story before, but your post filled in a fair amount more. I am very glad that I know your dad and this story confirms my understanding of him. Him was and is a good man. He made the right and tough choices, which is something we don't see often enough. I won't say much more, except to say that your post/review of the film really hit home with me. In fact, I encouraged Maricel to read your post as well – which she did.Tuckerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11561135235230975798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6332525178317601464.post-81131086457153062792007-03-31T02:46:00.000-07:002007-03-31T02:46:00.000-07:00That was a wonderful entry. One of my favorite things about the pop culture blogosphere is writers effectively mixing up the personal and the critical.

Well done!Ross Ruedigerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00796449359255091290noreply@blogger.com
